Backdrops: There are two categories of backdrops. Scenic (skies, cityscapes, gardens, etc.) and textured (sometimes referred to as "limbo" or "mottled") which come in various colors. Unlike the scenic type the textured, which are done on unprimed canvas, can be draped. The coloring of both types can be greatly altered by the use of colored lights or gels. Examples of this can be seen on backdrops #103, #1269, and #1078. The backdrops are shown alone and propped.

Backdrops are usually painted on double-tempered Masonite and Sintra panels which are 8, 10, or 12 feet long, and can be up to 40" high. Pricing for your project is determined on the basis of the detail level required and the overall length of mural required. No two backdrops are alike and all work is custom fine art.
