At three, Lindsay Lohan was a working model. As a kid she appeared in ads for dozens of products from Pizza Hut to the Gap, and co-starred with Bill Cosby in a Jell-O commercial. At six, she was one of the trick-or-treaters who rang David Letterman's doorbell on a Halloween Late Show. Her costume was made from garbage allegedly found on the D-train, and Letterman gave her a garden hose. At ten, Lohan was a semi-regular on the soap opera Another World, as Alexandra "Ally" Fowler. The following year, she made her motion picture debut as twins in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap with Dennis Quaid.

New York Magazine's pictures of nekkid Lindsay Lohan are titillating, sure. But more importantly, they are the embodiment of oh-so-many media trends! Like the trend of a glossy magazine grabbing a high-fashion photographer to make shirtlessness upscale (for men and women). Also, the "trend" of serious news outlets exploiting pop culture for massive clicks while still maintaining their "smart" cred. Further, tragic celebrities—living or not— are the best attractions. The Lohan shoot isn't pegged to her funeral, but it's pretty damn grim foreshadowing, considering the Marilyn Monroe theme.

Turns out that Riley Giles, Lindsay Lohan's new boyfriend, has a fiancee. In an interview with The National Enquirer, Breanna Tierney says Lindsay stole her man. If you're keeping count, that's the second time this has happened. The National Enquirer says:

Lindsay Lohan has six mortal enemies - Hilary Duff, Paris Hilton, Brandon Davis, Zorxog lord of the underworld, John Stamos and Scorpion. Although Lindsay is widely recognised as either the Devil, the Devil's spawn or the Devil's minion, few believe that Hilary or Paris are in any way connected to God or Jesus (although it should be pointed out that Hilary did try to steal Jesus' handbag). It is thought that perhaps Paris is ... the Devil's spawn, also sent here to try & enslave the planet just in case Lindsay doesn't succeed, or has the ability to enslave the world faster than Lindsay (both seem to have the ability to have the same facial expression all the time, which may be significant). No one is quite sure where Hilary Duff comes into this all - and to be honest, no one cares.

Actress/teen pop star Lindsay Lohan entered the world of show business at the tender age of three as a Ford model, which led to television commercials for the Gap, Pizza Hut, and Wendy's. She did more television work as she grew up, including stints on soap operas like Another World and The Guiding Light, as well as roles in The Bette Show and Get a Clue, a Disney Channel movie. Lohan's Disney connection, which included starring as the twins in a remake of The Parent Trap, continued into her teens and helped her expand her career into music: along with co-starring with Jamie Lee Curtis in 2003's Freaky Friday, she ... performed the movie's theme song, "Ultimate." The following year, Lohan starred in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and contributed two songs to its soundtrack. Buoyed by these successes as well as her starring role in Mean Girls, Lohan hosted the 2004 MTV Movie Awards and won an award for Female Breakout Star. She also signed to Tommy Mottola's Casablanca Records, releasing her debut album, Speak, in December of 2004.
